Motivated by years of being bullied by classmates, Carrig launched the company in 2013 as a movement to spread positivity, self-love and kindness by wearing bracelets that display powerful “Little Words” of affirmation.

Philanthropy has always been part of Carrig’s kindness mission, and the brand’s Little Words Big Impact give-back program has raised over $1 million in support of organizations and causes significant to its team and customers. Adriana also serves as the Founder and President of Herself Co., a non-profit she developed to foster a community of compassionate young women through education around confidence with the goal of enhancing the self-worth and mental wellness of tomorrow’s leaders.

Today Little Words Project is a multi-million-dollar business with a passionate legion of supporters, including national retail distributors Target and Nordstrom, celebrities Selena Gomez, Lance Bass, Alicia Keys, Taylor Swift, and brand partners with cult followings from Dunkin' to Wicked the Musical. People are encouraged to experience the brand and personalize their own bracelets in stores across the nation in New York City, Miami, Austin, Boston, Philadelphia and more.

As Little Words Project has been called one of the fastest growing direct to consumer brands, Carrig has been featured in media like TODAY, Forbes, Inc, Entrepreneur, and recognized as an Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young. In Fall 2024, Adriana published her first book, The Power of Little Words. Adriana lives in New Jersey with her husband and business partner, Bill, and their two sons, Ford and Jett.
